For some reason, this Mumbai crime news has energy drinks in its central part. Energy Drinks are a guaranteed business nowadays, and several celebrities get on the endorsement bandwagon in the blink of an eye. Unfortunately, for around 25 celebrity and their manager, their decision to be associated with an energy drink exposed them to fraud.
In one of the longest FIRs we have read, Ayman Entertainment has lined up several accusations against the five people, two of them claiming to be owners of Sky 63 Energy Drink, right from not paying endorsement fees, giving checks that bounced and even taking cash from Ayman Entertainment under some pretext or the other.
This incident flared up in 2024 when Kushal Tandon, one of the celebrities signed up for endorsement, made a social media post about the nonpayment of dues from Ayman Entertainment. However, according to this report, the post was quickly deleted.
But when a formal complaint is filed, the alleged owners of Sky 63 Energy Drinks will indeed have a lot to answer for. The total amount in question is close to ₹1.5 Crore, and that includes the endorsement fee, the manager’s commission, and some cash amounts. A quick search online shows that several celebrities, including Riddhima Pandit and Jay Bhanushali, have posted reels promoting the product.
