16 YO Girl Missing, Father Files Kidnapping Case

In a chilling Ghatkopar crime, a 16-year-old girl had disappeared from her residence in Jagruti Nagar, Ghatkopar, and a missing case has been filed. According to the First Information Report, the girl was at home when her father arrived home after work, at about 10:30 PM.

The report states that the girl left the house at approximately 11 PM without informing anyone of her whereabouts.  The parents searched for her everywhere and were under the impression that she was out chatting with her other friends, but that was not to be the case.

There are no suspects in the case, but the authorities are continuing their investigation. According to the police complaint, the incident occurred on the night of March 10, 2024. The girl lived in Jagruti Nagar with her grandmother, father, mother, and younger sister, who is 13 years old. At the time of writing this article, no ransom demand has been reported for the kidnapping in question. Also, there are no known suspects in the crime at the time of writing this article.

Kidnapping is a serious offence and can attract up to 10 years of imprisonment. It remains to be seen how this particular case unfolds.
