₹3,00,000 Stolen From House of Drug Bank Operator, Servant Absconding

In a surprising Mumbai crime, the servant of Jeevan Jyot Drug Bank operator is absconding, and ₹3,00,000 belonging to the bank is also missing. In a police complaint filed, the operator of the drug bank would bring home cash from the bank on a daily basis and keep it in the cupboard in the bedroom. The money would then be deposited in a nearby bank the next morning. However, on that day, when she went to check the money, it was missing, and so was the house servant, and his phone was unreachable.

According to the victim, the servant knew where the keys to the cupboard were usually kept, and he had also seen the senior citizen keep the money in the location above. According to the police report, the accused servant, who is absconding, has been working for the family for only twenty days. He was the grandson of the family’s former servant, who had retired due to old age.

This Mumbai crime is perplexing, as it is evident that the authorities will be able to catch the absconding suspect at an alarming speed. The suspect’s grandfather had been working with the family for more than two decades.

It would only be a matter of time before the police arrived at the suspect’s grandfather’s location. Also, in such a scenario, the absconding servant is the primary suspect, so it is truly surprising that the person decided to simply decamp with the money, seemingly without a clear exit plan. A robbery calls for a rigorous punishment of ten years under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sahnhita.
